1. Chewing up the house

Hi there,

I have a 6 month old english bulldog/afgahn mix that has recently started chewing the base boards and door frames in our house. She has plenty of toys/rawhides/hooves to chew on. This behavior has just started in the past 3 weeks and I don't know what to do about it. Can you help?

3. Swimming Tiger!

Check out this story on a tiger that swims! The photos are incredible! Most cats do not like getting wet - as anyone who has tried to bathe a cat will know. But as these pictures show, there's always the exception to the rule. For the cat in question is a large male white Bengal tiger called Odin. Six years old, and at the prime of his life, Odin lives at the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Zoo in Vallejo, near San Francisco. He is about 10ft long from nose to tail, and is an excellent swimmer.

Check it out!

4. New kitten...lots of questions!

I have adopted a one year old cat a week ago and she sleeps under the bed at night but early in the morning (one o'clock) she jumps on the bed and starts meowing.
It's ok for her to be on the bed if she were quiet!
She ain't misbehaven other wise and she has recovered from her URI.
I gave her some cat toys to play with and even tried to play with her with her toys but all she likes to do is sleep and smooch.
What kind of scratching post should I give her?
I bought a scratching pad but she ignores that but thankfully she hasn't scratched on the furniture or carpet or anywhere else!
In regards of cat food she is eating dry food but should I also feed her canned food as well?
Thank you.
